Who this is for: This class is for students who have a foundational grasp of Pinyin, basic greetings, and numbers, and are ready to expand their conversational vocabulary. It is a small, conversation-focused group class where you will get frequent feedback and speaking practice. (Not sure if this is the right level for you? Class Size: 3 to 6 students. We cap classes at 6 students to ensure everyone gets plenty of speaking time. (Note: Classes require a minimum of 3 enrolled students to run. In the rare event a class does not meet the minimum, you will receive a full refund or a transfer to another time).

What you will learn:

• Reinforce Basics: Self-Introduction, Families, Nationalities, Jobs, etc.

• Expanded Conversations: Moving beyond basic greetings to discussing hobbies, making plans, and visiting friends.

• Grammar & Structure: Forming more complex sentences, asking descriptive questions, and improving sentence flow.

• Characters & Typing: Continued practice with character recognition and typing in everyday digital communication.

Materials: We use Integrated Chinese Vol 1. For this level, we will pick up from Lesson 4/5 (See content from the pictures). Digital learning materials are included with your registration. You can also purchase a new textbook and workbook set directly from us with a $20 discount after signing up for the course.
