Who this is for: You know pinyin and some basic characters, and you can talk about yourself, your family, time and dates, hobbies, work or school, and shopping. That's usually about a year of study, around HSK 2. Not sure? Email info@unlockchinese.com for a free assessment.

What you'll practice: Starting from the beginning of Volume 2 (Lesson 11), through role-plays and real-life scenarios:

• Ordering at a restaurant

• Seeing a doctor

• Going to a gathering

• Weather, directions, renting and travel

You'll also build grammar for longer, more natural sentences, and keep improving your reading.

Schedule: In person, Saturdays 10:00–11:30 AM, 6 weeks, starting Oct 24.

Class size: 3–6 students. If the minimum of 3 isn't reached, you'll get a full refund or a transfer.

Tuition: $450 for 6 sessions. Try the first class for $50, and it counts toward tuition if you stay.
